Value merit. Improve ethics and honesty, internally and externally.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Cliques develop and become part of the office political landscape. The workplace can quickly become hostile.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I've worked there long enough that I get a 75% match for my 401k. Newer employees have lesser packages.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Merit needs to triumph over nepotism, favoritism and politics. There are well qualified and hard working employees, but they work for unqualified political appointees.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

I was interviewed and hired by a person who was from a completely different technical field. He had no idea if I was technically qualified or not, he relied upon general demeanor and recommendations,

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Merit means nothing in this company. It's all about personal political relationships. Middle management are appointed to positions which they are unqualified for. It has gotten to the point that Regulatory Commission Staff are issuing large disallowances for this reason.
