Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The only positive I have about the executive team are their work ethic. Other than that, the company is filled with blame-shifting and lack of transparency.
Their understanding, flexibility, trust in their employees
Great vibe about them. Encouraging.
Mid-level management was supportive, but upper management team was not.
Great work culture. Great workplace for entry level
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to improve in fostering trust, promoting collaboration across silos, reducing micromanagement, and prioritizing employee well-being over excessive surveillance.
Pay us more, treat us better
Everything , they are not very employee focused
Providing the training needed for their team members. Poor leaders only make things more challengjng for all.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
bi-annual performance conversations and a mix of cash based and vesting discretionary awards feel like a reasonable cadence to adequately assess performance and discuss plans in response to market developments
You can negotiate a good bonus percentage. Half cash half RSS is not the greatest, but if you stick it out, it can be very lucrative.
Pay and benefits are well above average.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is below market. Bonus is 50% in company stock and not vested for 2 years .
Discrimination and relatiation. Im not in CEOs "club"
Promotional benefits should be given to those that are exceptional in their deliverables. However, as I mentioned previously this is not the case. Specifically, they exploit the Junior Banking Analysts by giving them garbage pay and expect senior level deliverables from them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
have been fortunate to work in a division that has been less exposed to heavy turnover with good continuity and have grown up together over the past 5+ years
My team and immediate coworkers were awesome! The problems begin when being forced to interact with the various other silos.
Good people who work hard
We work well together and help each other out.
There are some good, hardworking, smart people but unfortunately, they dont stay long.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Stop micromanaging and draining us
Hire and train people, engender loyalty, motivation and hard work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
for those that are self-starting and enjoy taking ownership of managing a process, a project or a deal from start to finish - those individuals can be as involved as their hustle and know-how enables them to be. Separately, the structure is dynamic, if you have a problem, get buy-in for a solution

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Needs to hire more, pay better
Executives need to listen more to their employees. Employees want to speak up but don't feel it is safe.
Better work life balance and more pto
Invest in people and products. Corporate activities are too scattered as though mgt is frantic to tell a growth story. a strategy needs to be proven by the financial performance, communicated to all stakeholders and cohesively implemeted. Thats not how done at Axos.
What did you like most about the interview process?
it felt efficient, had a phone screen with HR and the direct hiring manager, then came in for a single-day in-person with the hiring manager and two additional levels of senior management
Meeting the teams and getting to know them better
Did not feel like I was under a magnifying glass.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Be truthful about the real job, lack of growth, low variable comp, workload and hostilities to manage expectations and provide people with needed factors to make career choice on hire.
What makes you most happy at work?
finding a middle ground between what credit is willing to approve and a counterparty is willing to accept
Being able to communicate with managers and tram members freely. Some managers stay in their office and hardly have time to speak with their employees.
