BAE Systems Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Benefits package and Profit sharing options

I’m paid what I’m wo

health insurance is expensive and PTO is below industry standard.

HSA, Insurance, and 401K program

KPI stretch targets are fair

Good salary and bonus for commitment.

Salary is the only thing.

Its very good pension could be a little better

It is very competitive with the market

Review from IT Dept

I like the whole package.

It is extremely well balanced

I finally am happy with my salary and the 401k matching is adequate. Vacation time is inadequate considering it is all expired from being sick.

All of the compensation packets are excellent

They match up to 6% of your 401k contributions, which is really nice.

I am handsomely compensated and I have access to great benefits that provide value to me and my family.

The company share scheme definitely

Compensation if you had to work over regular hours each week. It was not overtime, it was EWS (extended work schedule).

Better than majoirty of other places

Knowing how much i will recieve

As a global aerospace electronics systems & engineering giant and defense contractor, compensation packages are among the best in the industry!!!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

unles you are the blond hair blue eyed person of the moment you get no where

Contract that we are on is 9 years old and is no longer competitive.

Discovered at least 20% less across the board being Sub-contractor when compared to Prime. Actual papers and verified by Prime workers. No reason to make less when work load is same if not more.

Review from IT Dept

Compensation is not on par with other companies. Vacation allowance is horrendous! There is also no bonus program below the director level, and raises are 2% at best for the highest performers. If you want to be paid fairly for your experience, you'll end up having to quit and go work somewhere else

The salary is low for the amount of experience in the field

Better pay for already existing employees, better benefits and more time off options

Company has a Role grading systems, which maps "the complexity and responsibility" of your role to a salary band. This is not executed properly at all, and people that are three grades and $50k different are doing the same role.

Probably a raise. Or a promotionn

Review from Product Dept

The company's idea of a "high" merit raise, is what other companies give to their worst employees.

You only see the manager when the customer states an issue. When you need them to pursue internal opportunities, they are never there and are annoyed my persistence to reach them. As for pay, they should go by the company policy, which they threaten you if you let others know about the policy.

Improve compensation and allow for bonus and profit sharing

Cost of living adjustment never seems to happen for my location.

48 hours of Justified Days, 120 hours paid vacation, being late cause of a accident is a huge problem. Take away your pay even though you call in

My previous answers should answer that

Having a broader technical skillset than those with senior titles showed me that I was underutilized and undervalued in my current department. Others could play the game and kiss up to management in order to get by while shirking technical knowledge work and passing it down to lesser in title.

Review from Communications Dept

Levels between Manager levels (1,2,3) overlap with Director levels. Hires brought in are typically brought in without regard to experience and do not align with the market.

Review from IT Dept

They don't pay you what you a worth. Getting a raise is impossible unless you're an executive.

Review from Operations Dept

As an employee of 5 months I'm still not eligible for BAE employee benefits.

Review from Operations Dept

The issue is more about how raises are given, which is about how long you have been there rather than accomplishments.

Review from Engineering Dept

Pay is not on par with experience. Medical is high with high deductible. No bonuses. Impact award system is a joke.
