Doing good despite the bureaucracy's best attempts to derail me.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My team's not bad, but the disconnect between HQ and the satellites (US, Australia, etc.) is vicious.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Again, I think they're trying, but there's a lot of burnout and bureaucracy to wade through. We'll see.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The new guard is miles better than the old guard, at least. BAE Systems may yet survive the damage that team did.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
it exists. It's nothing special, but they did just pay out an annual bonus for the first time in several years, so they're trying, I think.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I think current management is trying to turn it around, but this is a very old, very entrenched company that moves like a defense contractor. Thant's rough on tech folk and murderous on consultancies.
