  • Better Pay, Better Work/Life balance, better healthcare insurance. Pride in the facilities is a must, Offices are old, dirty, and outdated and makes the company feel 'tired'. Maintenance and management doesn't seem to care about stains on the carpets, desks falling apart, dirty walls and lights out.

See below Hourly: 1-4 years - 15 Days 5-14 years - 20 Days 15+ years - 25 Days + All hourly employees get 2 Personal Days and 1 Floating Holiday Salaried: <1 Year - 15 Days 1 - 4 Years - 19 Days 5 - 9 Years - 23 Days 10 - 14 Years - 26 Days 15+ Years - 29 Days All Salaried Employees also get an additional 3 Personal Days and 1 Floating Holiday

  • Promotions are hard to come by at Baker & Taylor. You practically have to be someone's 'favorite' to be able to move up the ladder. Hard work and extra hours does not equate to a promotion.
