What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Provide clear goals. Don't run multiple large projects at the same time. Stop moving the target. Stop derailing projects that are almost done. Listen to your employees. It's great to be optimistic and positive but a reality check is needed at the highest level. Trust your experts to do their jobs.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Bigger bonus, higher annual base pay

I work too much and I do not get paid enough. I am promised resources are coming but when? It's been years of being constantly understaffed. More and More people are leaving and more and more work get put onto myself and my team. BAL is not doing enough proactively to keep their staff.

I believe it's hard to recruit top talent without a competitive salary. I've referred many attorneys to the firm, but the salary if far too low compared to competitors and their current firm.

I feel that the amount of work the Paralegals do does not correlate with their salary; I think we deserve higher compensation for our case/task loads.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Part of my team I love, however, many of the people in my office are closed off and cold towards new employees. I don't feel like many people have made an effort to get to know me or ask me about myself other than work-related inquiries. The vibe in the office is not warm and welcoming.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Give people time to do what you want and/or ask them to do. Managers with direct reports have too many meetings to also manage a caseload. Invest in existing technology
