My experience is a little detached as I work remotely year round. However, it's been excellent overall. I've never been required to work overtime in 4 years! And I'm a software engineer!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Warm, down-to-earth, friendly. They put trust in mid-level managers. Very hands-off unless they can help you. Good people.
What makes you most happy at work?
Figuring out a difficult development problem and collaboration with my team to do the best work that is feasible.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We just foster culture fit right when new employees walk though the door. Our executive team is just so grounded, there is trust all the way down and it really fosters cooperation and focused work without unpleasant politics.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The positivity of my recruiter was just infectious. I had applied to some jobs and never heard back ... at all. Here was a company that called me the next day and said they'd love to have me!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Probably everyone mentions the paid-paid vacation. We are paid up to 2 thousand dollars as a bonus/reimbursement for vacation expenses. We call it paid-paid vacation because we can also use PTO while we're vacationing. But there are a multitude of generous retirement and insurance benefits as well.
