Our leaders have purposefully architectured an excellent employee and customer experience. They are very vision and value driven.

The leadership team at BambooHR is transparent in every aspect of the company, which makes it so easy to really go all-in on the vision and strategy of the company. I feel like I'm treated like a human being, and I'm allowed to bring my best self to work every day, and that comes from the top down.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Paid, Paid Vacation is typically the big one here at Bamboo, which is totally great. But we also have really affordable health benefits, ID theft protection, and others that are really great. Our benefits seem to really be focused on making sure we and our families are well taken care-of.

We now have had 2 consecutive years of profit sharing bonus, and we also have a 2k bonus every year to pay for a vacation.

Probably everyone mentions the paid-paid vacation. We are paid up to 2 thousand dollars as a bonus/reimbursement for vacation expenses. We call it paid-paid vacation because we can also use PTO while we're vacationing. But there are a multitude of generous retirement and insurance benefits as well.

My compensation is not set it and forget it. Bamboo gives generous time off and they make efforts to ensure people take personal time. They will even pay for your vacation!

My team has great and respectful collaboration. I feel surrounded by smart and caring individuals who work well together and are interested in each other's growth.

Our company values really say it all--we're open and honest, we assume the best of each other, we enjoy the quality of our lives (and boost the quality of our work), everyone's ideas are listened to and respected, and overall, we're treated like real people with real lives that matter.

We just foster culture fit right when new employees walk though the door. Our executive team is just so grounded, there is trust all the way down and it really fosters cooperation and focused work without unpleasant politics.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The hiring manager was very communicative along the way. He gave clear expectations of each step in the process. Bamboo does not drag out the interview process. From initial contact to offer letter was two weeks. I've found that to be typical.

From the get-go, I was able to have open conversations with the people I interviewed with. I was allowed to ask questions, and get really good, in-depth answers from the interviewers. They cared about being a fit for me just as much as I cared about being a fit for them.

What makes you most happy at work?
Bamboo's mission is to set people free to do great work. It is not only a mission statement for how the software affects our customers. It is internal with the employees. I love contributing and feeling like my work matters. I work harder and feel more satisfied at the end of the day knowing that.
