I believe that Banfield is continually changing the hospitals for the better. We are increasing our medical quality and equipment at a great pace. Banfield's mentorship for new graduates is supportive and a new area chief of staff role puts a leader doctor in more places to support quality medicine
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The executive leadership are very involved in communicating with the field leaders. This at least lets me feel heard.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They come to work everyday to do their job. They are proud of their work and do it well with great quality
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
a better income to debt ratio. I can't pay my student loans off at all with what I make as a veterinarian.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing my hospitals succeed in their metrics and see the pets that need us to see them without staying overtime or stressing out
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that we are getting more marketing to the public. They need to know what we do and that we do high quality medicine here.
