What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The only positive thing is leaving every evening

What are some of the best things about your team?

Having techs that are dedicated to the job and the aspect of patient care only slightly makes up for how little the company cares about money more than the mental health of their employees

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Try learning about veterinary medicine so that relevant questions can be asked during the interview process to ensure experienced professionals are brought in to help patients. Not money hungry business degree holders who only think about numbers.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Management is only ever about numbers and not patient care. District manager brought in practice manager with no veterinary experience specifically to drive numbers without caring if patient care suffered along with it. Fired and pushed out employees who spoke out against this

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Try caring more about the patients themselves as well as the technicians/assistants who truly put in the effort to stay in the field to care for those patients. Quit making the job a money hungry assembly line and realize this is MEDICAL CARE, provide better quality for everyone.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Being paid a livable wage for a job that requires risking my life daily around unpredictable animals, sometimes larger than me, would be a start. Given raises based on performance would be even better. Hearing encouraging words and praises to help with burn out is apparently asking too much.
