
For the most part I think Moynihan is fairly well-regarded as a CEO, though I don't know of anyone who's personally interacted with him. He does seem to be embracing the whole concept of "responsible growth" and there seems to be increasing emphasis on managing and avoiding risk, particularly with regard to internal processes.
Moynihan is a political animal, a lawyer. He kept the bank out of deep hot water after Lewis’s greed got us in trouble. Neither are a tenth as good as McCall. McCall understood customer service & employee loyalty.
