BAYADA Home Health Care – Incredible stress, for incredibly unequal pay. What's more, i've recently discovered recent male college graduates are being offered the same starting salary that I (a female) make after 5 yrs. Poor form, bad office management from regional & senior leadership. Not worth the tears. | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

Contributing to the excellent care of patients and clinicians.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Treatment and care of patients is the middle management and clinicians priority. I am grateful for that.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Management on the office level needs to be held accountable. When you have multiple people iver YEARS reporting the same director and then leaving because nothing is ever done, something is terribly wrong.

What did you like most about the interview process?

It was a tad strange but that was bc of the director. I now know she has major personal boundaries issues and poor management skills. The interview qas average and they needed to get the position filled quickly.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

You will not keep filling middle to lower management jobs that require 50-60 work weeks for 33-45k a year and terrible health insurance. Your mission may be honor filled; your in reality treatement of staff that keep the engine going is not.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Insurance that actually protected or provided for health care. 401k that actually contributed to my future wellbeing. A salary that allowed me to live. I have none of those things currently. Create DEI programs, a women leadership iniative all you want. Pay women fairly.
