Bio-Rad Laboratories Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The annual bonus, although not a given, is always a nice extra, and the healthcare package is extremely good

It is competitive win all aspects

The health insurance is great.

My health care is 100% paid by the company for me and my family

It's the entire package--good healthcare options, stock purchasing and (for me) a healthy bonus and stock plan. It's not a flashy "all the paid time off you can eat" style menu or trendy "bennies buffet", but I like value, not flash.

Health plan and vacation plans

Love the healthcare options, profit sharing 5% (no match needed!) and no "trendy" bennies that end up being nonsense.

Having the ability to choose your own doctors.

base salary, bonus was structured well (if you don't get laid off before bonus time)

Ability to buy stock at discounted prices, good medical benefits

the package is little low which is upsetting

Espp is good to have and also bonus.

Bio-Rad has a very benefits-rich compensation plan. So your salary may not be as attractive, but when you calculate the monetary value that they contribute (healthcare, etc) the total compensation is really attractive.

Market based compensation & good bonus plan

5% salary automatically paid into 401K account regardless of my own contribution

Bonus and Medical benefits

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Competitive compensation would make this place better.

Bio-Rad does NOT pay the highest but nice place to work

Way below market pay. Benefits expensive.

I worked as an engineer and for being a women I was undervalued.

Review from Engineering Dept

treated like a commodity, added responsibilities and duties over spans of time, and no added title/compensation. Doing the work of 2 people. Earnings on the rise, yet annual merit was 2.5%. Turn over is high, morale is low. Management don't care, at least not care enough to take action.

Better benefits and higher salary on par with organizations that pay for great talent.

The capable are frequently performing the role/job they applied for, but are often asked to take on addition roles w/ no added compensation

I'm paid fairly for my role. Problem is, they keep adding roles and but don't add more salary. The strategy is to use you until you break
