Black Bear Diner Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

It is paid sick days

Review from Operations Dept

Everything in the package is good

i dont know they dont talk about it yet

Employee discount is the best part

Good fun love its so much

I don't really know much about my compensation package working the hours and doing my job is what's more important to me at the moment

Review from Sales Dept

Their isn’t really anything good or bad about

There isn’t really anything good or bad about

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Hours are cut so manegment can keep their bonuses

I feel undervalued as a line cook at Black Bear Diner due to low pay and inconsistent communication from management. Despite a year of dedication, my compensation doesn't match the job's demands. To improve my satisfaction, a fair pay increase that recognizes my commitment is essential.

Servers duting the week are mistreated because out management team would prefer to hire their own family , secure their hours and mistreat the other workers who are not family.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I've been here longer than most and am cross trained and make less than new hires

Due to my language barrier everyone at work takes advantage of me. Mentally I cant handle working at the black bear located in modesto. I need someone to support me and listen to my side.

Review from Product Dept

I personally love the company and would like to devote my career to black Bear but the store I am at is not for making our guest happy. It is obvious that the quick buck is much more important then the return customer and high quality and standards.

I'm one of the hardest workers at the job and I feel overlooked and sometimes underappreciated

Review from Product Dept

If everyone was held at the same standard, it might not be so bad.

Review from Product Dept

I feel undervalued because when I called to come in a hour later because I was visiting the hospital to seek TREATMENT, the general manager yells at me saying WHAT YOURE NOT COMING IN NOW. When that was not my intention for I need money and have asked them not to schedule me early shifts already.
