Correctly identifying issues with people and their jobs
I have been here for 1 year and in that time I have seen corporate here once. That should tell you how much they care...
Understand what the meaning of leadership is
Treat employees with respect and not be passive aggressive.
I would wish that our managment team would let the hard working servers.. who put in the hours during the week, not only get get good tables on the weekends but get treated as such on the weekends. During the weekends our managers/ supervisors allow their own family to get better treatment.

Hours are cut so manegment can keep their bonuses
I feel undervalued as a line cook at Black Bear Diner due to low pay and inconsistent communication from management. Despite a year of dedication, my compensation doesn't match the job's demands. To improve my satisfaction, a fair pay increase that recognizes my commitment is essential.
Servers duting the week are mistreated because out management team would prefer to hire their own family , secure their hours and mistreat the other workers who are not family.

I've been here longer than most and am cross trained and make less than new hires
Due to my language barrier everyone at work takes advantage of me. Mentally I cant handle working at the black bear located in modesto. I need someone to support me and listen to my side.

working together as a team to get through that day
Cooks and management need to be respectful to others.
We have never had a meeting
Better trained customers relations and crew relationships
Review from Operations Dept
Better communication and more respect for one another.
Empathize with others who leave so much indifference.
Empathy, and working together as a team to get everything done ...at the end of the day a restaurant is only as good as it's employees ...
Better group of people that actually care
This black bear diner needs new management.
The managers need to put in their place
Review from Customer Support Dept
To be courteous to the potential employee for hire, and honest in communication with them.
They have to be kinder and know how to listen to the interviewee, they only hire people from their own place of origin.
Not being bias based on race, gender, or enthisity
New Management would make everything a lot better. Fire the managers we have and get actual managers that want to do their job and want to work.
Lousy as ever they don't care
I've been told by many regulars that they never see a manager on duty. They can tell that we are stressed out because of our management team. The service themselves are not happy, terrified and disappointed every time in our schedule.
The only way i see change is to clean house from management down
When your sales are low you send people home. The people that came in for a full-time position that actually had responsibilities need to know they have a job. Is the reason why we don't get the hours because of sales is so a manager gets a bonus? Keeping employment low?
Review from Sales Dept
Everything. The manager is disrespectful and doesn't listen to his workers
Do something with the cooks please they ate harrssing workers. Mentally giving me distress and anxiety everyday i work. Managers wont help me because that cook is family to the manager. Please
