Blizzard Entertainment Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

New content is almost everyday

Review from Product Dept

Most of the people who work here are gamers and they are passionate about their hobbies and jobs, whatever those might be.

Everyone is at work because they want to be there. And genuinely wants to be there. It's not just luxury and gaming all day. Heck playing games only happens during lunches, and an occasional once a month fun day. Everyone there wants to be there to work on awesome products.

Review from Engineering Dept

we are challenged, collaborative, have fun, we strive for perfection in our products, every voice matters, our community matters.

Review from HR Dept

Cooperation and collaboration. Culture. Relaxed environment. Supportive environment.

Review from Product Dept

Having a campus like structure where most of the things you need can be found here definitely takes some pressure out of your mind.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Everyone is encouraged to be themselves

Review from Customer Support Dept

This is the most collaborative environment I've worked in. Impressive given the size of the company and the distribution range.

Review from Operations Dept

Blizzard is a progressive and open-minded culture. Differences are embraced, diversity is celebrated, and you're always encouraged to share.

Review from Customer Support Dept

It's very laid back at Blizzard. However, we work very hard for one common goal which is to create the best game and an awesome experience for our fans!

Review from HR Dept

Blizzard puts an emphasis on culture. They encourage us to embrace and openly share our passions. The people here are generally happy and positive.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We're all gamers of various levels and intensities. By embracing this one core trait we can start conversations and easily expand to every other aspect of friendship.

Review from Operations Dept

The core values and mission state drive every decision. You can ask any employee what their favorite core value is, and they'll tell you what resonates with them closest (Play Nice; Play Fair is mine!).

Review from Customer Support Dept

Everyone loves what they do and they do it passionately.

Review from Operations Dept

You are encouraged to be yourself and embrace your inner geek. Look up our core values, they are not just lip service. We live and act by them.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Everyone lives by "play nice, play fair" motto.

Review from Operations Dept

Lots of smart people who are passionate and positive about coming up with the best solution. Even if we do disagree (which we do often!), I know it at least comes from a place of trying to make us collectively better.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Wecomes a diversity of thought, experience and idea. Humble, friendly and open.

Review from HR Dept

People are very passionate, artistic and funny. They are free to be themselves

Review from HR Dept

We celebrate! We produce awesome, quality products and work does not feel like work but feels like an opportunity to contribute.

Review from HR Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Improve the cultural undertones. My office has a passive-aggressive culture, which severely elevates a shared sense of impostor syndrome. I've never worked with such a room full of unbelievably competent people, who all simultaneously believe they are incompetent.

Review from Engineering Dept

Company appears to be in transitional chaos.

Not destroy the spirit and soul of your employees by paying them fairly.

Review from Engineering Dept

More autonomy & faster decision making
