They're fine. They seem to have a good commitment to maintain the company values. They've made some pretty big mistakes, but they've also recognised and owned those mistakes.

I feel like my voice is heard when I raise concerns. I feel that they feel feedback is not only welcome but valuable. I feel like I can give feedback without concern for censure. Actions make take time to steer in new directions, but they are being taken.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything. They should set themselves on fire and fall down some stairs.
Practicing what they preach and not pillaging their employees for every drop of sweat they can ring out of them for no pay.

Health benefits reasonable - including incentives to stay healthy.
Fit-bit intensives are great, all my glasses were paid with the health intensive. (this combined with the discount we get)

Similar positions in other companies pay significantly more.
The cost of living in Irvine is insane. I do not feel like base salaries have kept up with the cost of living here. Most of the people I work with cannot afford to buy houses.
Being paid 1/3rd of what the job I'm doing is worth by market value is a joke, which is why we're all leaving.

What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has a good sense of humor. It's important that they aren't jerks and aren't touchy-feeling hypersensitive.
Everyone is extremely talented and experienced.
Everyone has the same passion to produce good work, and refine their practice. Everyone has a say in the work process, and everyone's voice is heard and honored. It is truly a team effort, and everyone is a valuable asset.

highly passionate and creative types. We succeeded or fail as a team and people are invested in the success of the group with less ego involved than I have had to work with before. This is the most number of women I have worked with directly and it is amazing not to be the only one.
Some of the smartest people I have ever worked with. If only we had better management.

My office suffers a passive-aggressive culture, where people don't address problems head-on.

Most of the people who work here are gamers and they are passionate about their hobbies and jobs, whatever those might be.
Everyone is at work because they want to be there. And genuinely wants to be there. It's not just luxury and gaming all day. Heck playing games only happens during lunches, and an occasional once a month fun day. Everyone there wants to be there to work on awesome products.

Improve the cultural undertones. My office has a passive-aggressive culture, which severely elevates a shared sense of impostor syndrome. I've never worked with such a room full of unbelievably competent people, who all simultaneously believe they are incompetent.

They are mostly focused on how well you will fit into the culture and the goals of the company. They do test your knowledge to make sure you can do the job. But a lot of the interview involved getting to know each other as a person, and with multiple people. 3 interviews, with 12 people

I had the most enjoyable time with my would-be coworkers as they tested my skills and problem solving. I came away having had a lot of fun and hoping I'd get to work with them.
I met a bunch if really cool and friendly people, and we had some great conversations.

The jobs I applied for and actually got involved a practical test, so I could prove my competency instead of trying to verbally convince people I knew what I was doing.

Banter and productivity. It's good to feel like you're getting work done, and it's good to feel comfortable enough to joke around with your coworkers and make them smile.
Despite my lack of college education, people have recognized how much valuable knowledge and work I can bring. I am a fast and hard worker, and they respect that so much they choose not to abuse it. The company and my team really do care.

I get to create awesome stuff and share it with a global platform of people.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Again, the "new" leadership of the past 4 years is horrendous. They need to go back to Microsoft.
It's hard to get excited about work when your managers have no clue what you do or how to do it, or even how to fairly evaluate you compared to other people in your department.
