Blizzard Entertainment Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They're fine. They seem to have a good commitment to maintain the company values. They've made some pretty big mistakes, but they've also recognised and owned those mistakes.

Review from Engineering Dept

They seem to mean well and own up to their mistakes.

Very open-minded, clear communicators, great ambitions to provide the best entertainment experience to the world.

Review from Engineering Dept

I feel like my voice is heard when I raise concerns. I feel that they feel feedback is not only welcome but valuable. I feel like I can give feedback without concern for censure. Actions make take time to steer in new directions, but they are being taken.

Room for autonomy. Every voice matters. Room to grow, learn and excel at your craft with tools to help.

Review from HR Dept

The executive team truly cares about not only the company’s success, but the success and wellness of their employees.

Review from Product Dept

Their communication styles and overall demeanor

Review from Customer Support Dept

The only company I've worked at in my 30+ year career where management lives company values.

Review from Operations Dept

Fully committed to leveling up employees, always encouraging, always supportive.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Accessible and always willing to help

Review from Legal Dept

Willingness to listen to feedback and ideas at all levels of the organization.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The Leadership Team at Blizzard really understands its most valuable asset which are its employees. They have created a unique culture here that everyone seems to enjoy and thrive in.

Review from HR Dept

Mike is the best boss i have ever worked for. His compassion for people and his employees as well as his approachable attitude continue to amaze me daily.

Review from Customer Support Dept

There is a commitment to quality and our customers that infuses the company from the top down.

Review from Engineering Dept

Leadership leads by example. They give you the room to grow, to communicate, they listen, and they act.

Review from HR Dept

Honest, transparent, equally invested in the business and their employees

Review from Customer Support Dept

I like that the leadership team practice what they preach: Blizzard's core values are apparent in every decision that the company makes, from the top down.

Our leadership is always listening to our feedback about business processes and are always willing to make adjustments if someone comes up with testable and proven methods of enhancing both our workflows and our culture.

Review from Operations Dept

They don’t just talk about the company’s core values, they embody them.

Review from Customer Support Dept

On my first day at Blizzard (after a BlizzCon), Mike came in for an executive meet and greet. All new hires meet an executive on their first day. He was so down to earth and human, it really drove home that working for Blizzard is like family. You can see/say hi to anyone around campus, any time.

Review from Customer Support Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Everything. They should set themselves on fire and fall down some stairs.

Practicing what they preach and not pillaging their employees for every drop of sweat they can ring out of them for no pay.

Review from Engineering Dept

Paying higher salaries to workers.
