He held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Logistics and International Supply Chain, with Starbucks Coffee Company. He held the position of Director, Supply Chain Management with Yum! Restaurants International / Pepsi Restaurants International. His responsibilities included leading his team in sourcing, planning and distributing all foodservice and store construction products and materials for Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC in the Latin America and Caribbean Region. He began his career as a Consultant at Mars Co. with strengths in target economics, customer demand and financial analysis. He joined Office Depot in 2010 as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. At MIT, he had a concentration in Systems Dynamics and a minor in Economics.
