I have a very sick child. She just turned 18. So for her to be able to be on my insurance till she is 26 is a big help to me, as her Dr. and hospital bills can be very expensive.

A willingness by upper management to take some pay reductions and spread the pay more equitable throughout HCSC. This includes COLA for inflation in addition to more generous performance reviews and fairer bonuses to recognize hard work.
Very low raises 2-3% per annum
Manager even knows I get underpaid, company feels as if it's becoming more antiquated, rather than progressive.
pay grades were revamped a couple of years ago to be more competitive with market however no adjustments were made to align existing employee salaries closer to market salaries

Not everyone has to be a part of the meeting. Clarify objectives up front, keep the meeting focused. Be rewarded for not attending meetings that don’t have clear objectives.

It took 7 months and 3 interviews for me to land this position. I am sure it is very competitive, but if I have the qualities 7 months later then I had them at the initial interview. Timing is everything and most people do not have 7 months to wait around for an eventual offer!
