Mostly genuine and competent professionals. There are a few bad apples though out the organization as you would expect to encounter in any large company

Not everyone has to be a part of the meeting. Clarify objectives up front, keep the meeting focused. Be rewarded for not attending meetings that don’t have clear objectives.
