What do you like best about the leadership team?
Range of expertise and personalities
Open minded, and give chance to everyone
I am new, but all the compensation looks good and hopefully I can get pay rise next year.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Very political and lack of diversity. Many people been at company 15+ years. Very stale.
developing clear vision and empowering people to fulfill the desired path instead of constantly chasing the latest fire.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Pet insurance, and 401k matching. Outside of this they could pair closer to other competitors
Base pay is competitive compared to market rate
Good base salary and performance bonus
market competitive base pay and incentive. Good healthcare and wellness program but 401(k) can be better.

This is not just BMC, but a national issue across hundreds of companies like BMC. I would like to see longer paid maternity leaves and more PTO. I believe you have to wait until you are here 5 years to get another weeks, which is long, but I understand the investment BMC makes to those who stay.
I feel there is an improvement area in this, because not just me but few others also are undervalued due to the HR negotiation.. HRs take the opportunity of the employee and later employee suffer from inequality in packages

Team is always ready to help each other without thinking about time and cooperation and coordination is well enough to resolve any critical issues

We pitch in and help eachother specially during PTO time and when someone is sick and there is something critical that needs to be done.

pick a real path to develop a product that's competitive instead of nursing the old tool to barely keep it alive

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
BMC wastes too much time chasing the latest fire and is letting go too many people with real skills to replace them with cheaper resources from India and Mexico
