This is not just BMC, but a national issue across hundreds of companies like BMC. I would like to see longer paid maternity leaves and more PTO. I believe you have to wait until you are here 5 years to get another weeks, which is long, but I understand the investment BMC makes to those who stay.
I feel there is an improvement area in this, because not just me but few others also are undervalued due to the HR negotiation.. HRs take the opportunity of the employee and later employee suffer from inequality in packages

Senior management needs to change
pick a real path to develop a product that's competitive instead of nursing the old tool to barely keep it alive

BMC wastes too much time chasing the latest fire and is letting go too many people with real skills to replace them with cheaper resources from India and Mexico
Communication and understanding
