BNY Mellon Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Bonus exceeded my previous expectations

Pay and bonus are above market for me, but I hve heard not for others. Benefits continue to be taken away with the lastest that we no longer get paid out our earned vacation when leaving the firm. 401k matching is lump sum at the end of the year, but only if you make it that long.

Health insurance and tuition reimbursement

pay and incentive. vacation days. work from anywhere

I dont like TSO services best process

401k and vacation is the best part

I get very good medical insurance

The pension is the best

The out of office policy

Great benefits, hybrid +ability to work anywhere two weeks/years

Parking, health, medical and well-being

Review from Operations Dept

my salary is the best part

Dont know but ive heard all benefits are good

Salary and total compensation level

Bonus pay is a nice perk

Health insurance and good cover

Its paid as per efforts you have put into, basically you give best you get best results

Review from Finance Dept

My base pay is the best part of my compensation package.

Review from Operations Dept

Pay check nothing else bonus is a joke, medical a joke.

Review from IT Dept

Payment for over time works

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Still not enough pay to live comfortably.

Any work done is not acknowledged, pay is low with no room for growth. Despite asking what can be done to improve things no conversation has taken place.

Larger base salary and ongoing 401k match

Poor health benefits, each year the cost of medical insurance premiums go up.

Below market value, terrible raises

Below market, when compared to peer banks

Fairness in treatment. Development. Proper training.

Below peers in similar roles

Pay is below the industry standard

When you are hired they tell you a bonus target, I have never gotten near that target despite very positive reviews

Management cycles out fresh college recruits and lets higher compensated leaders go.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I was "promoted" with no raise in salary or title for over a year before they finally made a move. They took advantage of my loyalty and work ethic. Never again.

Review from IT Dept

The number of extra hours compared to the PTO is skewed so far off track, that it is like working 2 full-time jobs with only 1/2 the PTO. Plus, taking PTO is almost impossible to get "approved" due to the constant demand for un-meetable deadlines. This does not seem to apply to management.

Review from Engineering Dept

As I said there is lot of politics and senior take credit of work done by junior employees.

I have a masters degree. They pay kids off the street more than me.

Review from Finance Dept

If pay is based on ability and market value, not race and favortism

Review from Operations Dept

Pay Market value at least

Review from IT Dept

being paid to market value

Review from Operations Dept

Lots of politics and useless people's getting more attention

Review from IT Dept

Better raises and bonuses. CEO gets 20x salary . Employees get 5% of lucky
