Out of 69 Boehringer Ingelheim employee reviews, 75% were positive. The remaining 25% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping Boehringer Ingelheim improve their work culture.
The efforts and commitments social responsibility to people and animals
Approachable, fair, receptive to feedback.
Really great very happy plus
Respect for work life balance
The global leadership team really value our people and they show this in the decisions they make and the investment in employee development. This is the friendliest and most caring company I have worked for.
Understanding what each department does
They're too busy networking trying to move up the ladder.
The leadership team endorses bad behaviors
Care about the people they manage, the ones who are all the way at the bottom
Strategic leadership and priorities. We can do everything, so give us a few big goals, give us the tools required, and let us work.
compensation, retirement plan, PTO, bonuses
Matching on 401K contributions, health care benefits
Pension fund and medical aid
free company prescription medication (otherwise would be around 150 dollars a month)
investing in my future as an employee
Im paid too little to do the things i do
Not merit based, but seniority and departmental. More transparency about salary ranges, levels, etc would help
Great team members to work with
they are diverse and cover all industry backgrounds.
My team cares about my well being and we have a lot of fun together
Hard-working, kind and intelligent people. Many have been at company for 10+ years showing the dedication and how happy everyone is.
Everyone is engaged and wants to bring value and improvement. People listen and want to collaborate as employees see themselves staying long term with the company.
Know what I do to support the business
Truly be resoectful and be open to new ideas
There is very little interdepartmental good will. An understanding of being on the same team would go a long way
Respect for work-life balance and personal life. Emphasis on patient / doctor first and customer-centricity.
Great campus (Germany) at our Ingelheim and Biberach sites, a culture of caring about the patients we will help and the employees, a desire to listen and to collaborate, investment in people and long term thinking rather than just quick wins.
work life balance is important, work expectations are not super human.
More diversity needed in the organisation
Leadership team demonstrated and rewarded inappropriate behaviors
Lots of pressure but no agency or resources to achieve
HR was very responsive. Set up interviews and received offer within 2 weeks. Was very transparent (shockingly so) about my benefits upfront (usually this is a black box till after you join) and was very cooperative with helping me transition from my old job without causing any extra stress.
I met a number of different leaders which gave me insight into the culture. When they heard I was under time pressure due to receiving another offer they fast tracked the process so that I received an offer really quickly and could join Boehringer as my preferred company.
Interview process was only personality fit
met with many people that I would be interacting with
