Respect drivers pay something for driving to and from client location.

Dispatchers sometimes are rude and talk down to you or you have to try to hear them with their children screaming in background.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Paid for loaded time (passenger in vehicle) and the expense of often driving further to and from client is more than the actual trip.
