Medical benefits are great for families
It use to be the stock/cash bonus until it went away.
They gave me 100k when I quit so I would promise not to take my clients with me. Which I would not have done anyways. Although they lost half their contracts when clients figured out I wasnt thete anymore.
Fair salary, not the highest in the market, but the incentive bonuses drive initiative.
Review from Executive Dept
Solid base salary, no bonuses or stock given to regular (non exec) employees.
Review from Engineering Dept
401k 6% match, short & long term disability, paternity leave (men & women), discounts.
The healthcare is good and affordable
Education benefits are very competitive
The very flexible time off and the ability to work remotely
Compensation is according to market standards
Decent salary and PTO options
I was hired on at a substantial raise
401k and other compensation package
Starting pay was fair, but have since received merit awards, raises and a promotion. PTO is generous.
Salary and PTO, which are my only concerns.
All of it. Great insurance. A ton of support programs. Competitive 501K matches. Excellent stock options. Flexible work locations and hours, depending on the client. Education benefits. Room for changing career paths, learning new skills, supporting new clients. Growth oriented
Stock options and tons of PTO
Paternity leave is very good at bah
401k and PTO are above average for general job market, on par with other consulting firms
The employee stock options program
401K match great. Healthcare was expensive.
Just because I feel that way
I feel appreciated but I think the company is lacking in benefits and compensation.
Booz Allen Hamilton Holding annual gross profit for 2022 was $4.464B, a 6.25% increase from 2021. Booz Allen Hamilton Holding annual gross profit for 2021 was $4.201B, a 2.86% increase from 2020. Raises were less than the increase in reported profits and inflation resulting in a losing purchase pwr.
matching 401k monthly instead of yearly... it affects compound interest and is not the most effective way to save for your retirement.
I think my peers are earning more than me while doing the same work.
Including more benefits for commutters
Value proposition, a sear at tgr table and i dont fall into thr backgrounvd
Conversations about pay transparency have been difficult to have. The pandemic is only making conversations even more difficult to have (in terms of salary negotiations).
My current contract is under valued
More salary. I feel like it is not very transparent
They were opaque about overall company pay ranges
I would feel better if Booz Allen paid at least 5 percent above average or average compensation. My compensation as a data scientist is below average
Review from Engineering Dept
Underpaid and under appreciated . Terrible
It's not the pay, it's the quality of the company
I feel like Booz Allen low balls on pay and has sub standard health insurance options. Merit raises and promotions are not transparent. Love my team, but lack of salary transparency and growth makes me want to look elsewhere.
Review from IT Dept
Compensation is kind of low for what you make in the private sector. I would consider going completely private if that means I can make significantly more doing the same kind of work.
Review from Operations Dept
The health care plan is mediocre (we've moved to my wife's employer's benefits). Generic 401k contributions. Under market for Cyber Security professionals. Ditch bidding on Low Price Technically Acceptable contracts. Move Senior Associates to billable positions and increase wages for loyal employees
Review from Engineering Dept
+More maternity and paternity leave +Opportunity to freeze eggs
Review from Communications Dept
If I were paid more for base salary and if I were paid extra for working more than the specified hours or on additional projects. They bill the client for one time, but then expect me to work for no pay for any additional time which they expect me to put in).
