We don't have office space or places to put our things, so every day we have to figure out where to sit. Hoteling is a pain but the senior folks don't care because they have offices and don't have to deal with it.

As long as we are doing what we are expected to be doing it's all fine. If you are focused on a set of work that management doesn't think you should be on, or not doing work they haven't told you about. You might as well be worthless to them. Not kidding, work you were not told was the priority.
