I love working for Brenntag and always say that. The ONLY downside are the benefits. The medical insurance is very costly and again, with the rising costs, I feel it should somehow reflect in our annual increases. More vacation time too. Other than that, I am extremely happy here!!!!! Thank you!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Feels like family, can 100% count on them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do love the company but feel pay raises could be better. I have been promoted twice and I don't feel the salary increase was very generous considering the additional work responsibilities. I feel this way with the annual increases at a time when cost of living is insanely expensive.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Again, I feel like we are family and I truly believe our management team cares for their employees safety and well being. I love the "safety first" and "family first" mentality. Might I add I love working from home and would hope this is something Brenntag would consider long term.
What makes you most happy at work?
1st and foremost, that I am gainfully employed. Again, I love working from home since Covid and I believe you are getting a lot more time from most employees. I have logged on in the evening and weekends. But outside of that, I love the people and that there is always room to grow.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I legitimately feel like my manager and our leadership team cares about the well being of me AND my family. I have been in this industry for over 30 years and I have NEVER actually felt that way. I tell my friends and family that all the time. I love working for Brenntag for that and other reasons.
