Executive Bio

Mr. Bryan D. Richardson has been the Chief Administrative Officer of Brookdale Senior Living Inc. since January 2008 and has been its Executive Vice President since July 2006. Mr. Richardson was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of American Retirement Corporation and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Richardson served as Chief Accounting Officer of Brookdale Senior Living Inc., from September 18, 2006 to April 2008. Mr. Richardson served as a Senior Vice President, Finance of American Retirement Corp., from April 2000 to May 20, 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Richardson was with a graphic arts company from 1984 to 1999 and served in various capacities, including Senior Vice President for Finance of a digital prepress division from May 1994 to October 1999. Mr. Richardson joined American Retirement Corporation in 2000 as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining American Retirement Corporation, he served in various capacities including Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of American Color Graphics, a national graphic arts company from 1989 to 1994. Mr. Richardson also served at national public accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He served as a Director of TabSafe Medical Services, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
