Being competent and doing what they say they will do. It's just empty promises with no action.
Actually being promoted into a role that I've been doing for over a year - that would be a start.
I feel that with more features and additions being added, compensation should increase to fit the additional responsibilities of the role.

The compensation structure rewards top performers and market adjustments, but not cost of living or tenure adjustments. You could conceivably work for years without a pay increase.

Our current system is outsourced, so managers don't even have a good understanding of why pay levels are a certain way. I understand the intent is to make it more fair, but because of the lack of visibility/complexity, it seems like it's less fair.
nothing really but asking an introvert if they look forward to interacting with people can be a loaded question :P
