Overall it is a great place to work, but improvements can be made in terms of diversity and inclusion, a unified vision across all squads, and an actual understanding of where we want the product to go and who we want the product to serve and have that be effectively communicated to all.

The equity component of the compensation package is significant because of the HUGE amount of growth Calendly is having and will continue to have, and with little dilution

The unlimited PTO is truly unlimited. I don't feel anxious or nervous about taking time off I want/need. I'm motivated to crush it when I am working, get my tasks done and then take some R&R. Truly there is a huge sense of freedom and responsibility and ownership here that calls me to higher levels.

Actually being promoted into a role that I've been doing for over a year - that would be a start.

I feel that with more features and additions being added, compensation should increase to fit the additional responsibilities of the role.

The compensation structure rewards top performers and market adjustments, but not cost of living or tenure adjustments. You could conceivably work for years without a pay increase.

Our current system is outsourced, so managers don't even have a good understanding of why pay levels are a certain way. I understand the intent is to make it more fair, but because of the lack of visibility/complexity, it seems like it's less fair.

I feel like the least smartest person in the room, almost all the time. At the exact same time I many times feel like the person most cared about; my opinion matters and is highly valued. The bonus is that when I'm surrounded with smart people who care, I learn more than I have in my entire career.
