He joined Carpenter in August 2015 as Vice President, Sales & Customer Service for the SAO segment, which accounts for nearly 80 percent of Carpenter's total annual net sales. Mr. Malloy has a distinct combination of strategy, marketing, sales, application engineering and business leadership with more than 20 years of experience in the metals manufacturing industry. Mr. Malloy served as Global Vice President of Commercial Operations and Strategy within Power and Propulsion and Forged Products businesses at Alcoa, Inc. He headed up a disciplined corporate-wide growth initiative that encompassed the launch of new cross-business market sectors. He led increasingly complex market and technical operations that focused on monetizing products and increasing overall enterprise value. He is a co-inventor of five patents. He earned his MBA from the Mason School of Business at William and Mary and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Civil Engineering.
