CauseLabs is a web agency that builds websites and web apps for nonprofits, social enterprises and other socially responsible companies.
CauseLabs was founded in 2003 and its current CEO is Sheryle Gillihan. Since its inception 23 years ago, CauseLabs has grown to 11 employees.

Environmental Sustainability Goals and Actions
Our mission is to accelerate and scale the positive impact of social good companies through our products and services. Our core values of integrity, compassion, humility and inspiring others underscore our Company's concern for the communities and environments in which we do business.
Every decision we make, every action we take has one overriding purpose: To scale impact.
In that spirit, and recognizing that environmental sustainability is a continuous process rather than a time-bound project, we are committed to making the most appropriate and responsible use of our natural resources in delivering products and services to our partners, now and in the future.
- In support of environmental sustainability, we aspire to reduce our carbon footprint by:
- Removing corporate offices in favor of virtual offices, removing our commute and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Reducing energy consumption within our virtual offices (lights, water, gas, etc.)
- Employing electronic communications in lieu of printing whenever permitted, appropriate and feasible.
- Adhering to or exceeding applicable recycling guidelines in the communities where we do business.
- Encouraging our employees to embrace these environmentally friendly behaviors.
- Encouraging employees and partners to purchase from other sustainable businesses such as B Corps.

CauseLabs offers flexibility to allow for staff to volunteer in their community. Additionally, we select a family to adopt each year during the holidays. A portion of our paid event proceeds go towards local nonprofits and social enterprises.
