- How's the vacation policy at Century Casinos?It is screwy, you work a twelve-hour shift, but get ten hour vacation days/times.Eight-hour vacation day, even though the actual work day is twelve hours, so the way your vacation hours/days/time is calculated it is sometimes problematic to use. You can ask for time off, chances of getting the time you want are 50/50, depending on who you are, some can do whatever they want with no repercussions, show up late, or not at all and nothing happens. For others, if you are one min late then you are in major trouble.As long as you don't want a day that one of the "special" people want (even if they state they are not doing anything, just requested the day because you already had requested it,) & it isn't on certain busy days, you are fine.
