Frightened and angry leadership sets a tone from the top all the way down. Quietly wishing D&I would go away. Leadership changes their minds all the time and then tries to gaslight the employees. People who have never worked at another company in their whole lives swear it's a special place to work.

Schwab pays people well in most departments.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Some of them aren't afraid of employees and are willing to talk to and walk among lower level people.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I don't think top leadership knows or even wants to know what their regular employees' lives are like. The CEO angrily insisted everyone return to the office yet the CEO and CHRO don't work from the office.
