There is no work from home policy to speak of. Employees are expected to be in the office. If one has an offsite meeting with a partner or attending a trade show for a few days, they are expected to file an 'offsite work' request with their manager, even if it is for several hours. People's time in the office is regularly analyzed by management, and queries are frequently sent to justify where you were on given days.

The remote work policy/culture is very tight at Check Point. Don't expect it to be very relaxed. They have gates you scan your badge in when you enter and leave which records your hours and if you don't badge in during a day you will be asked to submit a time-off request or specify off-site work.

You should do well in an interview at Check Point if you can speak to all the major requirements of your job. You will be tested on some core competency and interviewed by a panel of your potential peers and supervisor.

You need to be extremely good at networking fundamentals and evolving cyber security needs. Good at programming is always a plus.

I was asked to complete a coding challenge relevant to my position which I found to be pretty easy. I was asked several questions relating to specific problems they were having deploying their new CMS.

I spent 3 years at Check Point. I saw a lot of turnover (in Marketing dept) but some people have been there for upwards of 8 or 10 years. Those people usually don't take the stress or pressure too personally, and there are perks like more PTO when you have been there more than 5 years.

Benefits at Check Point are good, they offer very good health plans, cover public transit costs for commuting which is very helpful to take advantage of, and have a good 401K matching and ESPP program.

The internship program at Check Point would be a good place for post-grads to get some initial experience in a corporate environment.

Conservative, but down to earth, dedicated and very much vested in creating shareholder value.

Check Point needs new leadership. The company is solid but it's old, stodgy and lacks innovation. There are lots of untapped opportunities.

Fresh leadership. Gil, Amnon, Dorit and Tal are yesterday's executives. They can't move the needle. Systems are antiquated too, which is sad

The Marketing team at CHKP is AWESOME. They're smart, hard-working, and collaborative. The executive team doesn't care about them though.
