Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our regional manager was very professional and appreciated store associates.
They are very supportive and encouraging and willing to help out in any possible. There is great comraderie between the leadership team and the stores.
Leadership seems interested hearing what associates have to say and making changes
Store manager is very good, but the assistant manager is not.
Not much to rave about.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
My managers were inexperienced, or just really bad as managers. Nice guys though.
Helping with some of the work
My experience is that management pays no attention to employees needs upon hiring. Agreed upon hours and days are ignored among other issues.
Awful. Terrible. Incompetent. Immature. Unqulaified.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The EAP benefits are the best part
I am part time so I don't have 401K
I enjoy my job until the team is broken by a bad employee
Earning pto continuously throughout the year
I like the employee discount.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I dont think it would be possable at this store
Pay isn't compareable to other retail stores pay rate.
Bring back the bonus pay not just for management
I will be working for this company close to 5 years now. I at least started with the chance of a bonus. Not the case for sometime. Now I literally am getting $10.50 an hour. What an embarrassment and joke!!!!!!!
I am an Asm with a GSM getting low pay for running the store, doing her job and mine.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There was really only one person that caused problems. The others were supportive to their peers.
Friendly and hardworking. Work great as a team.
I think on the most part everyone is ok, but for the assistant manager
They have good customer service but the customer takes advantage of them
Those that care about the company overall are the ones i enjoy the most because its a tem effort .
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Better time management and better work ethics.
They lack a work ethic consistent with Chicos mission. They are older and almost daily tell us they dont need this job
The co workers are excellent and are a great team when executing. Its the supervisors that are an issue.
We just need to start from scratch and start over
Most incentive based sales staffs are a little dog eat dog and this is no exception

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
A lot of females in management which can also be a negative.
Customers are the best part of the day. They enjoy our product and have sales help that they enjoy
We can talk to each other about our frustrations and our celebrations.

Bump up pay and stand begind its policys
Full conmirnent to its own values and guiding principles
The manager needs to communicate more with workers and have respect for them and not try to belittle them.
Stability in people's positions. Stop moving us around

It was very easy going.
I was hired 5 years ago . Now it seems as some are hired with very bad demanding attitudes

What makes you most happy at work?
Whrn the store manager isn't there.
When appreciation and respect is shown
Working with clients and helping them look at themselves with more confidence all with the power of garments
I enjoy selling cloths to the customers
Some of the customers are friendly.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Value their employees, hire based on skill and experience. And not based on gender or sexual-orientation.
Clothing quality and design has fallen. Prices do not. WHBM becoming just another clothing store.
Retail is changing. We are being encouraged to build customer relationships online but there is a learning curve and our hourly pay does not reflect what they expect from us
