We are all very capable of handling lots of projects and taking on new challenges. I can be assured that most of the time if I turn to a fellow coworker to work through a problem with me, we will find a suitable solution.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Working with directs to ensure that the directs have goals that relate to Executive's goals and understand the org's priorities. Also, setting up several key metrics to measure these goals on a per-project basis. Having retros to discuss success of projects rather than "was it shipped?" & "bugs?"
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I don't feel that my company is invested in my career growth, or in my ideas and work to help evolve my team's process and output. I also feel like we don't care about any metrics to measure what we're doing, just that our base metric is "has it shipped?" I've struggled getting research for my needs
