Good team and experience, moves fast

The company has the worst culture. They are not doing a good job in terms of taking care of employees. Logistics is a the worst place to work at. I would never recommend this place to anyone. No job security. They hire people and remove them stating no reason and logistics will give you a trauma.

Cognex thinks they do a lot of things right but they're not nearly as wonderful as they think they are. Very old-fashioned, stuck in the 80s company from a strategy and culture perspective. Good tech, good people overall, but some real strange decision making at the top.

The company care about expenses at the time of 'lay offs', but any how the celebrations these guys are doing lavish. Just to fool the investors, the management does reduction in the 'head count'. Great companies do 'lay offs' in very rare cases, but Cognex does frequently. Not reliable work culture

Great company to start your sales career.

Communication is key to them

I am very satisfied with the executive leadership at Cognex and the personal/inviting relationship with all of the employees from entry-level to senior management. Feels like a family.

Be a human and show compassion and empathy

Everything. They don’t value their own people. They are best at micro managing. I hate the senior leadership especially in logistics. I feel the work culture is very toxic. They don’t have Human Resource, they call it Employee Services because they know there is no humanity for their own employ

Communication. Transparency. Taking accountability for employee rentention and stop blaming the great resignation.

Be empathetic and not just focus on robust sales growth

Company car is great benefit

Stock option but have to wait for 3yrs or so before one can cash in. It also depends on the prevailing price of stock when one was offered the stock option

The Health insurance is good.

Fair to good, but make more in other places

Intentionally lowballing compensation because of how great the "culture" is. Ignoring key benefits like workplace flexibility (work from home)

Not everyone operates at a level of 10. Different things motivate diffeent people and not everyone operates at the same level.

Everybody is in a silo. Nobody works together.

Team work is key to the org

At least within my group people are supportive of each other and trying to make a difference despite challenges.

They don’t have a culture tbh. They treat humans like machines. They don’t have emotions. Worst culture with no humanity. They say they are diverse but there is no divers

Culture cannot be forced. Management should be inclusive.

Managers put you in real situations

Manufacturing space is small so the people who interviewed me had already known my experience which helps the interview process run more smoothly.
