The organization has a solid mission and purpose, trying to reinvent themselves to meet changing climate and needs of education. In the six years I have been here, the significant changes that occurred have been challenging but I do feel they are trying to correct and stay the course.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Diverse coverage, especially appreciate the new HSA health insurance option. Retirement package is also very strong.
What did you like most about the interview process?
That the interviewer could see my transferable skills beyond the typical educator that would help me be successful in this role.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is very family oriented and been through a lot of challenges together. Very supportive, care about one another beyond our work. Quality people.
What makes you most happy at work?
My flexibility and opportunity to control my schedule. I appreciate the remote work environment and am very self driven, so it works great for me and helps me to have that work/life balance.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I am remote, so I create my own work environment, but I would say others are flexible and respect one another's schedules and travel. We are all treated and respond as professionals. We are encouraged to strive for work/life balance.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate that my RVP has been in the field and understands the nuances of this work and various states. She helps our team remain mission focused and is always supportive and been a tremendous leader to our team. The current Chief of our area is also very supportive and understands our work.
