Hire people based on their profile and what they do best instead of hiring someone because is friend's with people from higher management.
That they do their job pretty much unsupervised, the department basically walks by itself just because we are responsible enough to do our job without someone telling us to do it.
The job that we perform is not valued to the point that even supervisors and managers have no clue on how we perform our duties, and, when they speak about our duties, they diminish them.
