It was a multi-step process, which didn't allow for their impression of me to be built from just a resume and interview. I felt like they thoroughly got to know me and my work ethic, which allowed them to make a genuinely fair decision.
The initial interview was relaxed and positive. The interview was about getting to know me all around not just my knowledge of the job I applied for.
