She served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President of Kmart Holding Corporation from September 2003 to March 2004. She served as the General Counsel and Secretary of Kellogg Company from September 1999 to August 2003 and served as its Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Administration from April 2001 to August 2003. In 2003, she joined Kmart Corporation as Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President. She served as a Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for Sara Lee Corporation from January 1995 to September 1999. She served as an Associate in the corporate and securities group with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York and at Sidley & Austin in Chicago, She was a Partner at the law firm of Sidley & Austin since 1991.
