Michael Thomas Smith — Senior Vice President for Finance at Crocs

Mr. Michael Thomas Smith, also known as Mike, serves as the Senior Vice President for Finance at Crocs, Inc. and also served as its Interim Chief Financial Officer from October 1, 2015 to December 2015. Mr. Smith spent nearly two years as Division Senior Vice President for finance at Wolverine Worldwide and, prior to its acquisition, Collective Brands Performance & Lifestyle Group, which included the Sperry Top-Sider, Saucony, Keds and Stride Rite brands. Mr. Smith served as the Chief Financial Officer of Wheelhouse Solutions LLC. Mr. Smith was responsible for Wheelhouse's finance and accounting, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions groups. Mr. Smith served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Slade Gorton & Co., Inc., which became more profitable than it had been in 10 years during his tenure. Prior to Slade Gorton, he spent seven years as Chief Financial Officer at Bennett Footwear Group, where he was part of a small partner group that expanded the business to more than $300 million in sales by successfully acquiring and growing brands. Mr. Smith is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor of science degree from Babson College in Massachusetts.
