Q&A With CSG Employees

CSG and its employees are good people, in-fact it’s one of our core values. As such, we strive to make a positive impact on the world around us. Whether building new homes for those in need with Habitat 4 Humanity, donating blood and goods to the Red Cross or matching our employees’ contributions to their favorite charities, CSG and its workers care about making our communities a great place to live.

How employees describe working at CSG

It feels like leaders, managers and other employees lead with kindness and competency. The work culture is great and you get rewarded for putting in good work.

Interesting and clever and diverse people

Excellent company with solid benefits and pay

I wake up excited to go to work everyday. My colleagues are always willing to help and support each other. The vibe is on a different level, everyone is excited to be here. I see myself reaching greater heights with CSG as my employer.

Used to be good, then it was taken over by an ex-Amdocs CEO who is driving the company headlong into being a woke virtue-signalling company at all costs, accompanied by a desperate need to achieve top-line revenue growth by M&A, before the bottom drops out of ACP. It's now a horrible place to work.

CSG generally supports flexible schedules and work from home opportunities, but like in every company each position comes with it's own set of needs and flexibility. We urge employees to work with their managers to find the plan that works best.

  • Varied as needed

  • The work from home policy can vary from team to team or organization to organization. Employees in good dtanding are allowed to work from home, and encouraged to do so during impending severe weather. WFH is also the Business Continuity solution for the Omaha West Dodge campus. I can only speak to the International Service Desk's SOPs. Generally New Hires and Analyst I's are not allowed to WFH, weather conditions considered. Analyst II/III's are generally allowed to WFH 2 days per week. Leads, Managers, etc. are expected to exercise good judgement and coordinate with their leadership for WFH days. That said, even in the Service Desk, there are mandatory "all hands on deck" days and situations. Bottom line - WFH is looked upon as a 'privilege', not a 'right' and is always subject to business needs, team/departmental needs, and employee standing.

Every position is different but typically applications are reviewed and screened by our Talent Acquisition team, this can take days or months depending on the role. Then there is usually a phone interview, initial interview and final interview.

  • I submitted resume on Wednesday, they called me Thursday and flew me to Omaha for an interview on Friday. Received job offer on Tuesday. But I’m mega awesome. Most take 2-3 months.
