CURO Financial Technologies Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Match the Rrsp contribution and the dpsp

They are considerate in paying out bonuses

Review from Operations Dept

The company provides fair rates.

Review from Operations Dept

Great benefits package, including 401k matching.

Review from Marketing Dept

Benefits are priced fairly and available to any employee regardless of full time or part time status.

Review from Legal Dept

compensated fairly and based on performance

Review from Operations Dept

I don't often use insurance, but I had to have surgery last year and my insurance was one of the best coverage's out there!

Review from Finance Dept

It really includes everything you need

Review from Customer Support Dept

Some official aspects of the compensation package might seem more restrictive compared to other companies, but practically it's much more flexible (at least in my experience). I've never run into an issue with vacation/sick if I needed it and have been pleased with their options for family leave.

Review from Marketing Dept

Gain extra money(perfect call club,Opt+sales)

Review from Operations Dept

Company matches a portion of RRSP contributions (Canada). Quarterly bonuses are fairly paid.

Review from Operations Dept

By far the benefits are the best I've had compared to any other company! Additionally, employees can be rewarded leadership bonuses, which are performance driven.

Review from Marketing Dept

100% coverage for most benefits

Review from Operations Dept

I like that we have coverage for mental health such as therapy for individuals and couples.

The compensation package has a very generous bonus program to reward for top performances as well as the best compensation program in our industry.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is done fairly. And the best part is having bonus each quarter

Review from Operations Dept

The benefits are great and the option to contribute to profit sharing and RRSP's

Review from Operations Dept

I love having extended medical and dental, it really helps when you have multiple children

Review from Customer Support Dept

Bonus is a great benefit and really helps supplement a base salary. Keeps the teams motivated.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Bonus. Annual raise. OT pay.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I do not feel undervalued. I would like stock options

Health spending allowance would be a great added value to benefits. A compensation package that evaluates on exceeds expectations rather a general compensation could be beneficial to competitive salary rates comparable to other companies should be considered.

Review from Operations Dept

Most of my medical needs/ prescriptions are not covered under our current plan. It causes financial stress when the cost of living is rising.

Review from Operations Dept

As a Store Manager having a senior team I believe all my team members except those capped out should be paid a higher wage. Also to compensate for cost of living in the lower mainland. Unless someone has a partner who is also paid well it is almost impossible to afford any luxeries.

Review from Operations Dept

To make better benefit plans for retirement and plans that everyone can choose base in their situation

Review from Operations Dept

Annual raises should be more to keep us motivated to work.

Review from Finance Dept

High expectations for average pay

Review from Operations Dept

Nepotism exists within my department. It has been made known that if you are not closely associated with our VP and her immediate family, you will not be compensated fairly among those that are.

Review from HR Dept

I work very hard and tend to work through lunch most days as well as at home as needed, usually at least 1 to 2 times per week after normal business hours. While I continue to accept greater responsibility and tasks I feel my compensation does not reflect this.

Review from HR Dept

Curo is lacking in equal pay for equal work.

Review from HR Dept

The benefits are poor relative to other companies but the pay is good

It would be better to have better benefit programs to attract talent people since the company is growing so rapidly.

We are told we need more work, because we don't have enough to do, therefore, we should be paid more than what is offered during our annual reviews.

Review from Marketing Dept

Management is horrible with follow through. Can take months to receive anything promised and words are given to keep employees happy and working but never followed through with. I enjoy my job just dislike the fight to keep building my talents/skills for the company.

Review from Finance Dept

Better company-wide health benefits that are at least equal to the market would be ideal. Company benefits offered are not in sync with the market.

Review from Finance Dept

I feel under valued because my boss puts the department's workload on my shoulders. We are a two-person team and she makes a lot more than I do and does very little. So I feel that this is unfair and disrespectful. I am not valued as a person, and I am paid lower than average.

I feel undervalued because of our noncompetitive PTO benefits. Most companies start new employees with accruing 3 weeks, prorated for their first year, whereas at CURO, we don't get any PTO until after a year. I also feel like wages are under when comparing to other businesses in Wichita.
