Mr. Reece A. Kurtenbach has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Daktronics Inc. since September 1, 2013. Mr. Kurtenbach served as an Executive Vice President at Daktronics Inc., from June 15, 2012 to September 1, 2013. He served as a Vice President of Live Events & International Business Units at Daktronics Inc. since 2007 until June 15, 2012. He served as a Vice President of Video Systems at Daktronics Inc. from December 3, 2004 to 2007. He began at Daktronics while a student in 1982 working in manufacturing and customer service. Kurtenbach has spent most of his career in applications engineering and product engineering management. He oversees the product development and market development for Daktronics video systems business, which includes the ProStar(R), ProAd(R), the new ProTour(TM) display product line and the V-Net(TM) controller. He also serves as a domestic regional advisor. He has been the Chairman of Daktronics Inc. since September 3, 2014 and has been its Director since September 01, 2013. He is a 1987 graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
