It was awesome at first but has slowly been getting worse and worse.
Working closely with a few key individuals.
Innovation and inspiring and aligning the company.
The flexibility in work location/remote is very nice.
A lot of people still care about the company and how employees feel.
The technology is dated and it is too difficult to get new features out the door.
Well structured and the interviewers were nice. The questions also seemed practical and not deep into puzzles or theory.
We need to focus on paying down technical debt so we can have a platform we can innovate on faster.
It was very well organized and you could tell they cared a lot about how they appeared and about attracting the best people.
There are still a lot of smart people here and some that really do care about others but a lot have checked out or are on a power trip and not trying to evolve the culture but just maintain the status quo.

Reward people that are working very hard or if their hard work isn't bring value to the company, let them know so they don't waste their time. Encourage timeoff, especially among leaders so people can step up and be noticed. Institute bi-directional (360) reviews.
The company needs more focus. Also needs to get rid of the layer of middle managers that have accumulated that bring little value but think they are doing great work simply because they are trying to get us to do more work but with no rewards... mostly only interested in they themselves moving up.
