  • There are a lot of great people at Dematic. Individually, we have a great group that is very talented. Being able to harness that talent is a battle with company decisions being made without consulting the actual teams or someone being kissed by the good idea fairy.

  • We have a lot of good teams that do fantastic work. However, there is also a lot of bloat in various departments for items that don't directly affect the customer which affects the overall budget and bottom line. Plenty of outside the box thinkers but not a lot of direction focus.

  • Lots of cubicles to work in no matter the department. Teams are mixed together in the workspaces so collaboration is available but takes effort. There are a lot of silos in the company. Very few will take ownership of a problem and getting resolution outside of your department is sometimes very difficult. There are some good managers that want to work with anyone to make the company better, but there is a big culture of "not my job, not my problem". Additionally, senior leadership (Executive) seems to be based on "Who you know" rather than "What you know".
