How's the work life balance at DEMATIC CORPORATION?
Work is your life. Dematic is hard on families. When work calls, we are expected to work long hours and sometimes away from the family.
What do people at DEMATIC CORPORATION think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The CEO has a vision, but he lacks people that will tell him when he's wrong or if the company is making a bad choice.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at DEMATIC CORPORATION?
Stop innovation until we can have stable and standardized products. We control so much of the market share that we need to take a step back and look at our offerings and what we can do to streamline them and maintain supportability.
What part of DEMATIC CORPORATION's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
We need good program managers. We don't have enough. We struggle with Manufacturing and keeping up with demand.
What's the interview process like at DEMATIC CORPORATION?
Apply through HR. Review of Resume. Advance to Phone interviews. Advance to In Person interviews. Offer.
What interview questions does DEMATIC CORPORATION ask?
What is your experience with high stress environments and how did you cope with that? What is your work ethic?
What are your coworkers at DEMATIC CORPORATION like?
There are a lot of great people at Dematic. Individually, we have a great group that is very talented. Being able to harness that talent is a battle with company decisions being made without consulting the actual teams or someone being kissed by the good idea fairy.
What's the company culture like at DEMATIC CORPORATION?
We have a lot of good teams that do fantastic work. However, there is also a lot of bloat in various departments for items that don't directly affect the customer which affects the overall budget and bottom line. Plenty of outside the box thinkers but not a lot of direction focus.
What's the office vibe like at DEMATIC CORPORATION?
Lots of cubicles to work in no matter the department. Teams are mixed together in the workspaces so collaboration is available but takes effort. There are a lot of silos in the company. Very few will take ownership of a problem and getting resolution outside of your department is sometimes very difficult. There are some good managers that want to work with anyone to make the company better, but there is a big culture of "not my job, not my problem". Additionally, senior leadership (Executive) seems to be based on "Who you know" rather than "What you know".
